"Breakfast buffet was decent. Rooms are very old and outdated. I found hair everywhere on the bed, on the bathroom floor. I dont think it was thoroughly cleaned. Also, there was something like a black piece of something in the bed comforter. So cleanliness is questionable. It is convenient location but if this is the cleanliness than i would choose elsewhere. I came here because i use hyatt often when traveling but this is not hyatt quality i am used too. "

"We had a french press, but no way to heat the water. There was no pot for the hot plate for brewing coffee, although there was coffee and condiments available in the room. The people were nice and the room was clean. We asked for towels and they were provided by house keeping. overall it was a good experience."

"Hotel Scheuble is conveniently located 5 minutes on foot from the Central tram station and very close to the Zurich HBH at the top of the Niederdorf area. The location is hard to beat, with easy transportation and many restaurants in the charming old town, and a very easy walk across the Limmat to Bahnhofstrasse. The elevators were at times a little wonky, but there are elevators. The small room has a glass-enclosed bathroom but is nicely decorated. The closet area is generous in size, and the "desk" is narrow but long with a number of outlets (Type C and J) but no USB outlets in the room. I appreciated having an espresso machine and a hot water kettle in the room as well as a luggage rack. The WiFi worked well. The breakfast was not super exciting, but you can have cook to order eggs. The staff was very helpful and seemed to accommodate customers in many languages. I arrived early morning but was given a room right away. I would recommend this hotel."

"The rooms and the whole hotel are renovated and look okay but the overall experience is like in Ryanair flights: you have to pay for the air you breathe. On the website it looks like the gym is a hotel amenity, instead, you have to pay 15 CHF to access it. There are little snacks at extortionate prices. The room was dirty, there was a sticky stain on the "bedside table", there were shoe prints on the floor and the toilet was dirty. I had cold shower on the first day because there was no hot water. "

"The staff are wonderful and incredibly helpful. The property is superbly located near Zurich station and right on Bahnhofstrasse. The room was a good size. The shower was excellent. The hotel is established and here and there a bit tired. It would not prevent me from staying again but it needs a bit of care here and there."

"The staff was very helpful…I had a mishap with scheduling (my fault) and they worked with me to update the reservation and make sure we had a nice room. The hotel was very clean, and in great condition. The hotel is located in a convenient location walkable to most sites and shopping. There are few amenities on site, but we were able to take advantage of the discount on the gym and free WiFi. Breakfast was a bit expensive for what was included, but in general Switzerland has higher prices for everything. Overall an excellent property and home base for our vacation!"
