"We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."

"Lovely hotel, helpful staff, spacious room and modern bathroom. The only thing to improve would be the air conditioning which was not working. It was very hot in the room though the hotel did provide 2 fans. Ideal location for walking into Salisbury and parking was great. Will definitely stay there again."

"The warm welcome from Dennis and Sarah made us very welcome, nothing to much trouble. Catch word was no problem. Part way through our stay was a change of chef by name of Tom although a young man served us well with good food. Also to Sarah's Grandson Keon who helped keep the tables and the fetching and carrying for the main staff. All in all our stay was vey good. Will come again. "We had a 3 night stay at The Stones Hotel Salisbury. The Receptionist Angelina (I think) weekend 13 - 15 July - was excellent She had a sincere smile. She was professional and very helpful. It was extremely hot and she arranged for a fan to be provided. A very pleasany lady. The Executive Double room is roomy with a fabulous large bed with very comfortable quality cotton bedding. "Friendly staff, proper country pub vibes but lovely and quiet room that was clean and comfy. Parking was a little confusing as the car park is very small, but road parking is available all around.
