10/10 Excellent

"I had a late flight into Faro after traveling from Seattle and was exhausted. This place was a a lovely, quiet, friendly, beautiful place for me to catch up on my sleep. Great blackout curtains, nice sheets, big bathroom with lots of hot water. The free breakfast was nice (lots of tasty sweets to try) and it was great to sit outside on the terrace to eat with a cup of hot coffee. The team working there was all friendly, especially the front desk people and the restaurant manager. While I didn't use the pool, it looked wonderful. The old part of the building was palatial and grand. I recommend this place."

"Beautiful guest house with lovely, helpful staff that made for an excellent stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and stylish, and the interior of the wider guesthouse itself is gorgeous, with many interesting objects and antiques. Location-wise, it’s very easy to get to - approx 10 minute drive from the airport - and you are able to get to many of Faro’s best spots on foot. The staff also provided us with a map of recommendations to see/do/eat. The breakfast was also exceptionally good, and great value for €15pp. Will definitely stay again when in Faro!"

"Highlights - Excellent breakfast, piano player creates great ambiance - 15 parking spaces directly at hotel, unlimited parking at back of the Marina - ask hotel for details - 15 min speedboat ride to the beach; Captain slowed down to film/take pictures of wild life - Location excellent - Room and balcony with marina view highly recommended - Staff arranged a surprise gift for my partner's birthday Lowlights - Shower screen not long enough - bathroom floor gets wet - Pillows to thin (personal preference) - very little space to store bathroom toiletries"
