This was a fine place for an inexpensive stop-over near Montreal- we liked the drive there through the countryside. The room was very small and the linens and towels were quite poor quality with a very small room. It looks as though the owners are making upgrades so it is likely that the property will improve with time.

A one night stay with two dogs in tow. Not wanting to pay the big buck rates the more mainstream chains want for a place to lay your head down for a few hours I usually opt to try and find alternative solutions for lodging (not to mention the sometimes ridiculous and prohibitive charges for dogs). This motel had decent reviews. Decent rates. A small, reasonable premium was charged for the dogs. So… from the street this is your typical looking motel. The type of place many would drive on by, a little tired in appearance, usually frequented by work crews being put up at while on out of town jobs. I have stayed at many of these establishments in my younger working days. Some perfectly fine, and some you definitely wouldn’t want to have to pay for, mostly staffed and owned by indifferent to aggressively negligent people. This Auberge is of the perfectly fine variety. Work crew was in attendance. Quiet and friendly. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Nice yard for the dogs and to sit and enjoy a couple of beers at the end of a day. Above ground pool for a quick dip on a 30C degree day. Nothing special but passable. The very best, and most important, part of my stay was the absolute, immaculate state of the room. I have stayed in upscale properties that could not hold a light to the standards of cleanliness this operator keeps their accommodations to. Very comfortable mattress and bedding as well. Shower with good pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Confidence in Covid times.
Convenient location close to fast food, gas,etc. Spotlessly clean and well maintained, despite being an older building. Quiet, welcoming, no contact, no nonsense.

Pleased that they accommodated our 2 dog. Extra cost is worth it. Green space around for doggy duty. Just wish I would have found a container to put the doggy bags in. Had to open a garbage bag by the recycling. It worked. Very clean and quiet. Tim Horton next door.

Pretty nice for the price. Not bad for an older place. Bed was nice and heaters worked well. My son immediately noticed the nice plush toilet paper saying it wasn't like the other hotels. Breakfast was included, which was simple but good to get the day started without going out. Hotel owner was nice and friendly. Was here just to go skiing but thinking of coming back to stay here and explore in the summer.

Owners were very nice people, very cordial and friendly. I was told I had breakfast included with my room. I went to the dining room the next day and there was coffee and toast. Fine, but the TV was off and the lights were off like they weren't expecting anyone. I turned on lights and made myself at home. Just as I was leaving the gentleman brought out muffins and sliced oranges but I didnt have any more time to stay in there eating so I left. My room was clean and neat the WiFi was pretty sketchy and only worked about half the time as did the TV in my room even though I followed the instructions printed on a paper infront of the TV. Overall I would say it was a slightly above average stay but I will stay there again if I have another opportunity to visit Farnham.

First off, our room was extremely clean. It was not fancy, it was a tad crowded with furniture, but it has everything you need. Very comfortable bed and a great shower. We had a non-smoking room. I'm not sure how smoking vs non-smoking rooms are situatued, but we felt like we were next to a smoking room, based on the smell. Overall, great stay for a stop-over at an affordable price.
