"Pros- great breakfast, staff was friendly (when around), beds were comfy, room seemed clean for an older hotel Cons- smelled like marijuana the whole time in our room, tried to let them aware, but no one was around. So we bought air freshener. Sprayed all the time. The noise from the interstate was awful! Had the fan running and tv on every night just to block the noise out."

"Room has water damage to the ceiling and wall by the sink light and presence of black mold. Toilet had black burn spots on the seat as well as on the tub. There were gashes in various spots on the walls. Flooring tile was worn down and buckeling around the edges. Bathroom door had a big crack along the bottom and the door wood trim was damaged either from termites or water. The front door had damaged door trim and a gap allowing flies to get in. I recommend checking out the rooms before you pay."

"Hallways smelled like weed the entire time, tv was hard to operate - old, instant plain oatmeal and muffins and coffee was all that was available for breakfast…. Bathtub had cracked paint - had to put a towel down in the bottom of tub. Part of the hallway floor felt as if there was water damage and structural damage when walked on. I would not ever stay here again. We did not feel safe at all. Staff was nice - and about the only redeeming part of our stay."

"Before I arrived, I called to confirm my check in time. I was told that the room we paid for would not be available because it's first come first served check in system. I had to talk to the front desk person and they were able to "find" a lesser room, however when we arrived it was clear it was not cleaned properly because the floor was sticky and smelled of syrup. We didnt have a complete set of bedsheets for the fold out couch, and it was surrounded in crumbs and dirt. The tv remote either...

"I didn’t like the fact that I was up all hours of the night due to the guests next door opening and shutting the door until 2:30am. I had to wake up at 5:30am that morning to go somewhere with my husband. Not a happy camper."

"Terrible experience. The customer service was among the worst I have encountered. The room was dirty, with broken doors and no hot water at all. The towels were extremely small, more like kitchen towels than bath towels. Breakfast offered very limited options, and the area did not feel safe. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I need a cheap place to stay for the Carmel Marathon and this served that purpose. But it is pretty basic. Outdated and there was a hole in the bathroom door and peeling cabinets. After some loudness around 10:30-11pm I had a good night's sleep. There was also a $2 utility charge and a $50 deposit which I don't recall being listed on Expedia. Budget motel that served its purpose."
