"A genuinely special place to stay. The setup was cosy and self-contained, with views of both the sea and across the garden, complete with horses! The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely touch after the long drive, and the fresh croissants were a simple addition we appreciated every day. The hosts kept things fresh and tidy without ever being intrusive, which struck just the right balance.
It's the kind of stay that feels looked after in a personal way you don't often find....

"I stayed here for 1 night only with my mom. The overall maintenance of the hotel needs sprucing up, it is very shabby in areas. The breakfast room was lovely, no complaints here. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of TLC, the curtain lining was all torn, the walls needed painting and the draws in the dresser won't open unless you open the wardrobe door first.
I called about 3 days before our stay to check everything was ok and ask a few questions - one was about electric car charging. I was told it was a first come first serve and I couldn't reserve a space. When we arrived the 2 electric spaces were occupied, one car charging but the other wasn't even an electric car! I asked at reception if they could find out who it was and ask them to move and I was again told no, and they let people park in them if they need to due to mobility issues. If I had tried to park in a disabled bay not being disabled I'm sure this wouldn't be allowed. When we arrived back after being out all day both cars were still there but this time neither were being charged. I called the night manager on the phone who was going to see if he could find out who's cars they were and that in fact you can reserve the spaces!
The following morning the receptionist that was on was helpful and once the one space became available she reserved the space for me.
I was very disappointed with breakfast too - the bacon was terrible.
The hotel wasn't cheap and I expected a better standard."
"St. Michaels hotel is pretty nice, staff were friendly. Due to schedule change I asked for one night extension which has been taken care. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our stay, so we were unable to explore the surrounding areas entirely."
"Excellent holiday for me & my husband, very clean & cosy environment where I can see the see view. Walking distance to Falmouth town centre as well as got 10% off at harbour fish & chips place with fresh fish. Love the walk along the sea walk to town too, feel the fresh breeze and comfortable environment too. Very friendly staff in the hotel, brilliant breakfast too. Will recommend this hotel to everyone. I will scored it 100%"
"Perfect location close to a beautiful beach and near to harbour, perfect host Katie, nothing was to much trouble, lovely breakfast and super comfortable clean room, bonus was excellent off road parking, would stay again and recommend to others."
"A thoroughly pleasant stay (long weekend), polite and friendly staff. Breakfast hearty, varied and good quality. Room was nicely appointed and a comfortable bed. Hotel parking is just enough. Good to see that provision is made for destination charging for EVs but the price/kWh is very high."
"Lovely location, lovely staff, lovely food and a lovely sea view room! Couldn’t fault a thing!
Specifically regarding the staff - just the nicest, helpful people, who made it the perfect stay, thank you!"
