The only thing I didn’t like was the fact the walls are thin. I could hear the people in the next room talking and I don’t think they were talking loudly. And the people above me must have been walking laps or had a pet elephant with them. Better insulation between the floors and the walls would improve sounds traveling.
We were promptly greeted and assisted in checking into our room. The room was clean, neat and fresh. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. This hotel was located close to all the activities we had planned while in the area.
Check in was slow due to low staffing. There was a rodent in the wall near the bed making scratching noises at bedtime. Breakfast was very limited compared to other hotels. Had omelets, sausage, cereals and bread/pastries. No waffles, pancake machine broken, only had apples, no bananas or oranges.
Confusion with the check-in. Room had been assigned to two gentlemen, and he walked in to the room after I'd been there for two hours.
Coffee bar was cold at three AM 1st 2 days. Hot this morning.
Please don't get me wrong. The staff helped, but I thought you should know. Also coffee was hot this morning at 03:00.
Clean, good warm breakfast choice. Beds felt older and firm. They short staff so was told we couldn’t check in till 4:00. Which understandable and wasn’t a problem but the desk clerk was not friendly and lacked communication with hotel guests when rooms came available! There was about 8 other guests waiting in front lobby as well waiting to check in. I went up to counter about 3:45 just to check, if getting close and I noticed that there was several rooms including our ready and never communicated to let guest some rooms were ready! Everyone got in line and from what I saw most of the guests rooms were ready. Again not very friendly and I feel customer service is very important when dealing with public!!
The bed was very comfortable, probably the first time for us with such comfort.
The breakfast had an excellent selection

Bed was as hard as a box spring. Nit what I expect from Holiday Inn. I pay more for comfort. Two of the lights in my room didnt work and the heater made loud noises, waking me up.
The carpet was dirty. For a 2 person stay they provided only 1 bath towel. (sounds like Motel 6) I open a cabinet and found a partially empty soda that had been in so long it had . Congealed. I booked a 3 night stay with expedia. When I got there I canceled the last night. I was gone from the room all the next day without my phone. When I got back to the motel, They wanted to know why we had left our stuff in the room. I explained we had a 3 night stay reduced to a 2 night stay. They told me my reservation with expedia was only good for one night but they had room and I could just rebook the room. They never serviced the room what so ever. The trash was full. This morning I got the bill and discovered my charge was $45.00 higher than my booking. The staff was good, the breakfast was good. The motel sucks. Stay anywhere but there

On this visit, and this visit only, as I stay at the HI often in Fallon the staffing must be low. Impossible to get pool towels and a few towels in the room. Despite the fact our room was not available for check-in, we were able to use the facilities/pool while we waited. Wishing them luck getting back to complete staffing as this is a preferred resting stop in Fallon.
The staff, they were awesome. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was very nice and the young lady working it was so friendly and kept all breakfast items fresh. If ever in this area again we would definitely stay here.
Our stay started with terrible front desk service specifically from a male with bad attitude and a lack of care of his job (or any of the guests) We had called and set up an early check in a week before and we’re told to come in at 2. We ended up not being able to get into our room until 430. That’s just the beginning. The room had missing light bulbs in lamps, dirty pillowcase, hairs in the tub and musty smell. We made arrangements to be able to travel with a young child and this unprofessional treatment has made this trip the worst we have had.
On guys bike trip. Rooms were clean but air conditioner not turned on in room and it was very hot and took while
To cool down. 1st world problem. 😁. Pool was nice to get into. Small continental breakfast ok.
This has been our 1/2 way point from Idaho to California and vice versa; and it has been fantastic! Huge parking lot for the times we’re pulling a trailer which makes it soooo nice to get in and to get out. It’s an older town so I wouldn’t say the surroundings are “excellent” but we’ve always felt safe & there’s a few eateries you can walk to. They have both an indoor pool and outdoor pool which I’ve never used but both look very clean. There’s coffee & yummy creamer available all day in the lobby and the continental breakfast has plenty of options. We will continue to stay here when traveling and recommend this place to others.

Great people, understaffed
The staff was great, even if overworked. There were just not enough of them.
The facility was a little limited and worn down.
