Top Fairhope Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express Orange Beach by IHG

8/10 Good

"We were on first floor so couldn't see the beach. get a higher floor for the views. it wasn't an option at reserving. Nice location to get to other things. Beach clean and beautiful sand. Our room was needing a refresh. Bottom of tub worn and looking dirty along with grout. Had to put a hand towel down on bottom of the tub and carpet needed a good steam cleaning. Beach towels were a bit worn (thinning out) Like having the safe in room for when running down to beach as well as having mini frig for putting water and soda we bought at the store."

The Lodge at Gulf State Park, A Hilton Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The room was small with no comfortable chair or ottoman for my wife with a bad knee and back. No freezer compartment in very small fridge! Chairs on balcony were to low for us to enjoy! One morning I went to the beach while my wife slept in. I left my phone in room. When I got back to room, my key would not work! After 4 times down to the desk and many trips back up to my room , I finally got into the room. The desk clerks finally told us that if the card was close to the phone it would not work. 2 of the men clerks were very condescending. The girl was very helpful. The parking lot was very inconvenient and the luggage racks were not accessible unless you paid for a valet. When we checked in we were not informed of much! We were handed our key and not explained where our room was located or about any of the available services. We had to ask the valet or other guests many questions. It had a beautiful view and was very well maintained. We would need very good pricing to return."

Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Foley - North Gulf Shores

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed here one night when Hurricane Isaisa hit. It was perfect and we never lost electricity. We got a suite with a kitchenette and brought some food to get us through the afternoon and the next morning. The only complaint I have is that the utensils were lacking and there could have been a few more dishes in the cabinets. They literally provided the bare minimum, and we only got a few plastic knives in a cup when we arrived, so that had a few challenges considering we couldn’t leave to buy more at the store. Luckily, the breakfast area in the lobby had plastic utensils that we were able to take so that’s what we did. I would have preferred metal silverware though with a rental that included a kitchenette. It was affordable, clean, and I will stay there again if/when another hurricane hits. Oh, and it’s right next to a Waffle House so that’s a plus too!"
