"Breakfast very good, room nice size, good bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Only problem, extractor fan from neighbouring restaurant, but nothing they can do about that. Keep window closed and the a/c works fine. All in all, nice place."

It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. "

"The bathroom was quite small and felt cramped, which made it uncomfortable to use. The breakfast offering was also disappointing, with very limited variety. On top of that, there were noticeable plumbing noises from other rooms, especially when toilets were flushed, which affected the overall comfort of the stay."

"The cottage is spacious, with a big kitchen and cosy lounge. There are lots of bed options and towels provided. Unfortunately, very basic items like cloths (for cleaning surfaces), dishwasher tablets, and teatowels are not provided, making it difficult to keep everything clean during the stay. In addition, the heating is inadequate, with the thermostat only on at fixed times and the space quickly getting cold again. "Everything perfect, only thing for me on the day would be a slightly earlier breakfast, maybe 7.30 to get up the mountain earlier but that’s personal preference. Thank you for keeping my sandwiches fresh in the fridge."
