"We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Top Eyrarbakki Hotel Reviews

Hestheimar

10/10 Excellent

"Such a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff were so friendly. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Can’t wait to go back!"

Bitra Bed & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"Very friendly staff, me and owner talked for minutes bonding over various things like aviation and Iceland. Gave us great recommendations. We slept in but the owner stayed an extra 20 minutes past breakfast closure to try to accommodate us. The gesture was much appreciated and wish we could have tried it. 10/10 would stay here again, and recommend others to do so!"

ION Adventure Hotel, Nesjavellir, a Member of Design Hotels

10/10 Excellent

"Superior service from reception desk and waiters/waitresses. Reception desk will call you at night if northern lights are visible. And the northern lights bar is a lovely, open place to sit, day or night. Dinners were consistently excellent in the beautiful glass-enclosed restaurant, although only the fish changes each day. But we had the fish each night and each time it was superbly prepared. Seafood chowder and gull cheese are stand-out appetizers. Terrific thermal pool."

Frost and Fire Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The dinner was lile fine dining, absolutely superb. Loved the geothermal touch to both meals we had. The people working there were lovely. We arrived when it was dark and shown around the site. In the light of the morning, it was even more lovely to see that location. Saw someone cook their breakfast eggs in the geothermal oven- amazing place!!"
