"Absolutely lovely place! Iโve wanted to go here for a while for the pods with hot tubs and it did not disappoint! POD was very spacious, a super king bed was amazing! Very modern and comfortable. The hotel itself is really nice and in lovely grounds. We only had breakfast but it was also very good. We are looking forward to coming back!"

"We stayed a week & had our dog with us, were made most welcome by the owner & staff. The main dining room was excellent and newly refurbished. Our room was cleaned an linen changed several times during our stay. Breakfast was excellent and great value the service was excellent and even the dog got her sausage. There were several lovely walks for the dog within a short distance & all locals were very friendly. Lost of historic places to visit not to far to travel. Lindisfarne / Holy island. Banborough Castle & Seahouses. The only slightly down was that our room was nest to the road and at this time of year a lot of large grain Lorries are passing through. Also we had a few more stairs as we were at the top. Never the less we really enjoyed our stay at The Newcastle Arms and would stay again when in the area."
