"We booked this hotel as a midpoint in our way from Illinois to Florida. After a long day of driving, we arrived at 10pm to find out the hotel did not have any hot water. The lady at the front desk said we could cancel and get our money back, but she didn't want us complaining to her that there was no hot water. We tried to find another place to stay in the area, but all rooms were booked. I asked if the hot water would be turned on by the morning and she said no, since the hot water heater had been broken for a week. We ended up just staying there, since we didn't have another option, but we'll never stay here again. On our way back from spring break, we stayed in the same area, but a different hotel. The lady who checked us in there said the Sleep Inn's water heater had been broken for a long time and they get a lot of overflow from customers leaving the Sleep Inn because of their multitude of issues. The breakfast was also terrible. The room was advertised as 2 king beds, but they were just 2 queens. Also, our main light didn't work in our room, so we had to find a lamp in the dark to get into the room. There was also a door across the hall that had been busted open. This place is shady and not managed well at all. Save your time and money and go somewhere else."

"The floor needs to be swept and mopped. It was sticky spots all over the floor, and the bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on file cabinets and mattress. I will not come back. Poor Hotel needs to make sure. Staff is cleaning properly."
