Rude staff and dirty bathrooms!

Dreadful! Arrived to check in, mentioned myself and my partner were both unwell. She checked us in told us we were staying on the 3rd floor then laughed in my face when I asked if there was an elevator. She did not offer to help with our bags. I hurled them up many flights of stairs before getting to the room to find it was in the attic and unbearably hot. I went back to reception to ask if she had a room on a lower floor thinking it may be cooler but she laughed again. When I asked if there was a fan or small ac unit we could plug in and she abruptly and repeatedly said no before laughing at us again. I don’t know if the woman was psychopath if or had a a serious personality disorder but she should not have been in a service based role. Laughing at unwell guests is not just unacceptable, it’s horrendous behaviour! To ad insult to injury the room had a dirty bathroom, non natural polyester or acrylic bedding. I wanted to leave but all the hotels in the area were booked and we had completely run out of energy at this point.

Boa localização em Etretat

Hotel extremamente bem localizado. Cerca de 30 metros da praia com vista para as falésias. Cama boa. Sem ar-condicionado. Sem frigobar. Banheiro sem chuveiro fixo, apesar de ter uma banheira grande. Não tem elevador! A recepção não funciona o tempo todo. Não tem estacionamento. Em resumo: a localização é sensacional, mas não é um hotel confortável. Cabe avaliar esse custo benefício.

Chambre minuscule. Moquette éliminée et peinture écaillée. TV non fonctionnelle (manquent chaines 5,6 & 7). Chasse d'eau capricieuse. Pas d'isolation phonique. Obligation de préciser à l'avance l'heure du petit-déjeuner sans droit à l'erreur. Bref, pour ce prix mieux vaut voir ailleurs.

Bonne manière de démarrer l’année

Une nuit passée le jour de l’an dans cet hôtel parfait au prix très bien étudié, bien sûr le charme de loger dans une vieille maison de ville normande se paie par une chambre petite sans rangement mais cela n’entache en rien le plaisir d’avoir une chambre à quelques mètres de la mer à la literie confortable

Historisk og hyggeligt hotel

Hotellet er oprindelig fra 1600-tallet og nogle af de oprindelige materialer er bevaret. Blandt andet det gamle trægelænder på trappen, ganske charmerende. Værelserne er hyggelige og komfortable. Området er centralt, tæt på strand, spisesteder og parkering. Kan klart anbefale hotellet.

Le moyen âge !

L'hôtel se situe dans une maison du 14 eme siècle... Notre chambre se trouvait au 3 ème étage sans ascenseur (bien sur) et c'est un peu compliqué avec les bagages. Pour la réception et le petit déjeuner nous avons dû traverser la rue et nous rendre dans l'hôtel en face où le personnel est agréable et très jovial. L'hôtel se trouve à 2 pas du marché médiéval et de la plage, très belle situation. Pour les repas pas de problème Etretat nous offre un très grand choix.
