Océano Boutique Hotel & Bistró

"The Oceano is located right in the middle, so it is walking distance to anywhere in jaco. The staff is more than helpful, the breakfast every morning is amazing because it is locally prepared. Parking is easy and has security 24/7. The rooms are clean and spacious with the best beds in business. I've been staying there since 2019 while at the beach."

"The rooms are spacious especially if you book the ones with small pools. Our room did not have blackout curtains. In the past they did and I would suggest they get them back so you can sleep in and also have better privacy. The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner. In most beaches in Costa Rica it is very crowded. Here I sometimes had the beach all to myself. Great sunsets and you can arrange to ride horses. The ocean waves are rough and I would not advise anyone venturing in too deep unless they have a flotation device. Strong rip currents. The staff are all very welcoming."

"The property was going thru a little bit of a remodel but that did not stop us from having an amazing time. The staff was great, and catered to anything we needed. It was right on the beach and was amazing for sunsets. Even when we had a situation occur which forced us to stay for a few extra days, everyone was very accommodating and made our challenging situation easier to deal with. Highly recommend."

"After having a bad experience at a previous hostel we drove down the block to Jaco Laguna in hopes of finding a last minute place to stay for the week. The staff was extremely accommodating and we managed to book a beautiful room and check in immediately! The price was very fair considering its amenities, our room even had a lovely balcony with a private staircase right to the pool. The breakfast was free and delicious, and the location was amazing with beach access straight from the hotel, a surf school right next door, and even cafes, restaurants and a deli all within walking distance. Overall a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend! :)"
