"Large and comfortable room with lots of extras tha made the stay easy and smooth: well appointed bed and bath, electric kettle with tea and coca, fridge, microwave. desk set up was great. lighting was excellent. nice little porch for outside air. the staff were all super friendly and helpful. coffee and good pastries available on site. great location in Berkeley with lovely shopping and food amazement close. would absolutely stay here again and am so pleased to have found this spot. ...

"It was a terrific room for the price. To be honest, it sits in a part of Berkeley that can be kind of marginal so I wasn’t expecting much. All I wanted was a clean place to spend a night in proximity to Berkeley. I was actually quite delighted with the room. The parking was free and there was plenty of it. The hotel manager was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again."

"Online check in is helpful, as was keyless entry. The staff was very nice and helpful. The building itself is beautiful as were the rooms and the shared spaces. Be aware that there is a decent flight of stairs that you must climb to get to the rooms. Overall a great stay at a reasonable price. Definitely would return"

"I think the breakfast was great. However, the room was a little cold while I was sleeping. Even though I turned the heater up to 80°F, I still felt cold. Also, the faucet of the sink hits the mirror whenever I use it. It makes a noise that makes me worry the mirror might break. Other than that, everything else was perfect."
