Hotels in Escamp, The Hague

"Our room was not ready at check in time."

"Beautiful hotel in a quiet, scenic part of the city. The number 9 tram takes you from the Hague central directly to a stop across from the hotel. Hop on that tram again and get to the beach in about 10 minutes. There's a nice grocery store about a 15 minute walk along the canal and through an authentic Dutch residential area. A couple of points: to get on/off public transit requires scanning your bank or credit card. Had I known this in advance, I might have brought a card for transit use only. Also, there's major construction occurring immediately out the back of the hotel. If you're sightseeing during the day, this isn't an issue. BUT, if you're hoping to relax in your room during the day, this might be an issue. "

"This is a modern, clean, European hotel. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and pleasant. We dealt primarily with Federica and Chantelle, and one other day staff member whose name we did not catch. All were lovely people with whom to work."
