"Friendly welcome the moment we checked in Shown to room which was large and airy Bed was very comfortable.large walk in shower. The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent,with plenty of choice and generous portions Well stocked bar with excellent range of beers. We didnt eat at the hotel in the evening,but looked very good ,and favourable comments were heard being given All staff we came across were friendly and attentive "

"Meget stort og flot indrettet værelse, alt er meget rent og pænt - ja, det ser næsten ud, som om det lige var blevet malet og istandsat. Lækker morgenmad (til kun 5 £) med mulighed for selv at vælge mellem forskellige ting, og det bliver lavet til hver enkelt person. Der er endda hjemmelavede marmelader. Kan absolut anbefale Falmouth Bay - og byen er også virkelig hyggelig."

"I loved staying at Jacob's Ladder. The rooms are gorgeous and the owners are fabulous. You can walk all over Falmouth from this location. The pub is fun and family friendly. The food is great. My room was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!! "

"Great stay in a room 11 which was more like a little separate home. Food quality was good and staff were nice. While overall cleanliness was decent, we had hairs in shower and over our toilet and my parent had some mess in their bathroom too. Really liked the branded ‘newspapers’ with the property details and its history, as well as the separate lounge downstairs."

"Great position. Our room overlooked the harbour so we had great views. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s close to the main streets as well so ideally situated. Breakfast was great really tasty and ample. We would stay again for sure."

"We had a wonderful few nights in a yurt at the end of July. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we found the space to be more than comfortable and spacious. The yurt itself was wonderfully furnished and the kitchen outside well equipped for all cooking needs. Hosts Kate and Terry were always friendly, approachable and on hand to help. The communal facilities were spotlessly clean and showers nice and hot. It was a real bonus having a kitchen with electricity, fridge space and a lock box for...

"The grounds are spectacular and an easy walk to the beach. The staff were great especially Gerard. Room and ensuite bathroom nice. Dinner service the one night we ate there was extremely slow, but I suspect there was an issue in the kitchen that day and that was not the norm. We spent 2 nights there and I could have easily stayed longer! Thank you."

"Enjoyed our stay at Penmere. The staff were very friendly and helpful - shout out for Jamie! Spacious, comfortable room, powerful shower, clean. Good choice on breakfast buffet that was continuously replenished. Food ordered from breakfast menu was slow to come out. Would certainly stay again."
