"Didn’t like that you had to pay for breakfast, but whatever, we were there for the pool. The pool was adequate, but apparently if the doors aren’t propped open the fire alarm goes off. My kids had a blast and the hotel was close to the Big Texan, which is why we chose it. Not a glamorous hotel but was in budget and was great for our family of 6."

"This was our second time staying at this location. I love that it’s right off the freeway. Easy access on and off. Clean rooms & friendly employees. The only downside is there are no elevators. We had to carry our heavy luggage up & down the stairs. Pool was clean, our kids enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was good. Will definitely stay here again if we are in Amarillo again. "

"Overall stay was fine. The AC didn’t work very well. Kept turning off. We reached late so we didn’t want to ask for a room change in the middle of the night. The warm water in the shower was inconsistent. In the middle of the shower it was getting cold which happened multiple times. To be fair to the staff there, we haven’t complained about either of these issues and gave them an opportunity to fix them so I can’t complain."

"The staff have been so nice and accommodating! We were surprised to see a bar in the hotel, my husband and I snuck away while the teen watched the other kids in the room so we could have a relaxing drink. The bartender was so sweet. Rooms are clean, pool is ok needs a little updating but functional and fun for the kids. Had a nice stay. "

"Overall, a good place to stay. We came for a concert at the Civic Center, and it was a short walk. The downtown was clean and felt very safe, we had no concern walking back to the hotel at midnight. My only complaint was the lack of complementary coffee, which now seems a given at most hotels. Instead, Courtyard wants you to pay at their Starbucks which I won't do."
