"This was a surprise find. We found this gem while on the road. Absolutely the best location in beautiful Glenwood Springs. Boutique hotel without completely draining our pocket. We were able to walk and experience the town for the one night we were there and enjoyed a great breakfast out on the sidewalk cafe that is part of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend."

"I loved the architecture and history of the hotel and the lobby and grounds are beautiful and inviting. The historic photos, documents, articles and art are interesting to study. My room was charming and comfortable, and the wide hall reminded me of plantation homes I've visitied in the deep south. I had dinner at the outdoor bar - food and drinks were great, bartender friendly and fun conversation with other guests. Location is fantastic across the street from the the Glenwood Springs pool...

"The Hampton Inn in Glenwood Springs may normally be a nice place to stay the rest of the year. During the weekend of this year's Strawberry Days festival (and my wedding anniversary), they had some serious issues occurring that all but ruined the experience. When checking in on Friday evening, we learned that there were some "system problems" which caused a few delays. Not a big deal, as far as I was concerned.
