We only stopped in El Calafate to each lunch on our way to Perito Moreno Glacier but it seems like it would be a great place to spend a couple days at least.
El Calafate is a city in Patagonia, Argentina. It is situated in the southern border of Lake Argentino, in the southwest part of the Santa Cruz Province, about 320 km Northwest of Río Gallegos
Golden hour of light.. on our driveway back from Los Glaciers NP 😌. I could manage this capture when only one tick of battery charge was left in my cam and the bus was moving as fast as it could to get us back to the town before its dark.The pictures, many of them may not be perfect captures but most randomly clicked. We didn't have proper gears for some great wildlife captures and felt at a loss on many occasions, however what eyes beheld at every step through this terrain is the best we can hold on to until we return to be lost once again. 😍 Some around 3k random pictures have piled up in this trip! 😂#losglaciaresnationalpark #goldenhourlight #amateurphotography #travelforthesoul #travelandliving #traveladdicts #wanderlustcouple #wildlife #naturephotography #naturelovers #nikond5300

Lovely property with friendly, professional and attentive staff. Great location, only a couple of blocks from all the restaurants and shops. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Spa, bars and restaurants on site. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in El Calafate!
