"The pub is Marstons brewery so they have no control over menu or drinks, this is a great shame as the local produce would offer excellent meals both healthy and not feel like the chain which it is. Food; we did have problems with a few dishes but we raised them at the time and it was rectified. Overall really nice, just a shame there was not a lot available as in off menu, and no healthy options. "Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious."
