Very good selection at breakfast. Food in restaurant is overpriced. Our shower area had unsightly and unhealthy black mould, easy to fix with bleach or re grout.

Apex Grassmarket Hotel
Overall, the property was clean and well maintained. The staff was polite and excellent. Only complaint was that it was a bit hot at times and air conditioning would have been nice.

Great to have two double beds in the twin room Spa area, whilst small was a really nice add on. The bar shut a little bit early at 11pm The breakfast was fresh with an extensive choice but didn't cater particularly well for vegetarians (both of us are) with no veggie sausages/ haggis/ bacon.
