ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
Unfortunately, though the Ibis hotels as a concept aren’t bad, we had to wade through drunk locals to/from our hotel location. If you’ve a choice, stay at City Centre also, think “minimalist” — it’s affordable for a reason! But overall, you should only be in there to sleep, so it’s all good!

For this being a 4-star hotel and for the price I paid, it left a lot to be desired. Faux leather furniture had extensive scuff marks. Black mold in the shower area. Found nail clippings on the bedside table. Yellow "gelatinous" gunk inside the mini fridge. Not much of views (I would recommend staying ...

Excellent location just start of the royal mile, a comfortable hotel with a nice and filling breakfast, a warm and helping staff. A good place to stay if you are in Edinburgh and want to stay in the old town!
