"Amazing hotel and stunning views"

"この宿は設備が近代的で日本の皆さんも使いやすいと思いました。食事はボリュームがあり、特に夕食のパンはとても美味しかったです。お弁当も6ポンドぐらいで用意してくれるのでハイキングの拠点にできます。Uigの港も近いので買い物もできます。窓からの景色も海側はとても綺麗でした。スタッフは親切でいろいろと気を使ってくれます。"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Skeabost! The bartender, check in staff and wait staff were all very friendly! The view is magnificent and we walked all around the property after breakfast. Babbling brook, abandoned medieval ruins and a 9 hole golf course that is no longer in use. We loved our stay!"

"We hardly had a wink of sleep in the tiny first floor room we were allocated at this pub (I hesitate to call it an hotel) because of the noise from the lively bar below. Even when the pub emptied some time after midnight the disturbance continued as staff quarters were situated directly above us and, once they left the bar, loudly creaking floorboards continued to keep us awake until much later. But when we went down for Sunday morning breakfast at 9.15 we were told it had finished at 9a.m....

"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. The food was a highlight - we had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, and every meal was delicious with a great view of the mountains! I will most...

"The staff was very friendly and responsive. The food was very good. The hotel setting/location was a bit of a surprise, but easy walking distance to town. The hotel caters to groups/small tour buses, but then, most Portree hotels probably do as well. Dinner reservations in town are hard to get, so book in advance."

"Wonderful place, wonderful people. The staff was so friendly and helpful, as were the other guests. The kitchen and common living space were especially spacious and humongously homey. The only downside was that the road near the close-by fairy pools was filled (unfilled?) with potholes- which really has nothing to do with the hostel and I don’t need to note that in this review. 10/10, I’ll definitely be staying here again next I visit Skye- which is ASAFP (As Soon As Financially Possible)."

"This was the best stay we’ve had on our Scotland trip. We had a sea view which was gorgeous, there are sheep everywhere which was a highlight, and they are quiet at night (in case you are wondering). The breakfast was included and had many delicious options. We ate at the restaurant for dinner as well and enjoyed all of our meals. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. "The property was clean and as expected for a 3 star. Unfortunately we could not communicate with the host the day before checkin and the day of checkin. We escalated the day before with Expedia because the phone numbers did not work. The cell provided on checkin instructions rung someone in UK, he had no clue what I was asking. The land line number never answered. We also sent an email morning of checkin to Sykes cottages, no response. I sent a message using the contact property feature...
