"There were some building works which meant we requested to change rooms. There was a slight delay checking in but also an upgraded room. A shout out to Deepak, one of the wait staff near the pools, lovely guy and couldn't do enough for us."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the food was very good, with a good choice at breakfast. What really stood out was how friendly, welcoming and helpful all the staff were. Bella was especially lovely she was very friendly, kind and always went out of her way to help us. She regularly checked in to see how we were doing and whether there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Divesh at the reception desk was always smiling, polite and helpful whenever we needed anything. Sudesh, the shuttle bus driver, was also very nice, friendly and helpful. Overall, the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Their kindness and excellent service really made a difference, and we would be happy to stay here again."

"A spectacular resort with very friendly staff great facilities and great food only one small adverse experience at the grill where a staff member was a very terse other than that everything was perfection. "Had an enjoyable stay, staff were friendly. Hotel and facilities were looking a little tired, but staff had said that the hotel was closing in January for a refurbishment. Great, easy access to the sea, and having the boat option was great! Would like to visit again when hotel has been refurbished. Solo traveller but didn’t feel conscious as there were several other people on their own."

The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

"Overall the Westin Turtle is a perfectly good option to consider if you just want somewhere to sit and bathe in the sun. The beach area is clean with plenty of sand but the best area's to swim in the sea as via the area given over to another hotel - nothing stopping you using it but sunbeds etc are not for Westin customers. Plenty to do whilst on site with various events laid out during the day to make things fun. All of the staff were attentive and helpful but special shout out goes to Vivek, Mafoozah and Jeevan who made our stay very comfortable. We visited in September and that appears to be considered a quiet month so certain restaurants and options are not running, these were not told to us at any point, we just discovered it by chance. We decided to eat outside of the resort on most nights - a personal choice over anything wrong - but when we cannot fault the quality of the food or the service. I don't know how Westin compares to other similar hotel but for us it met our expectations and allowed us to have a stress free holiday."
