"I don’t know why this hotel isn’t rated higher. We had a wonderful stay. The views are amazing from right there in front of the hotel and it’s a short walk to the dolomiti bus if you’re headed up to Rifugio Auronzo for one of the iconic hikes. The staff did their best to help us download the app for bus tickets and buy them, but we had trouble getting it to work, so I recommend walking to the bus stop-they sell tickets right there, and then do the Cadini di Misurina hike!!!! "Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"
