Walking in the place smelled amazing - the benefits of being attached to a fantastic restaurant. The staff were very helpful, and explained everything really well. I was shocked when I got to my room - it was HUGE, with a real fireplace. Far from the usual bookings I would usually make. The bed was big and comfortable, and the room was warm. "What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"
