"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Langewold

"The room was generally quite good although the lighting in the bathroom was somewhat low, not bright enough, especially for the bathroom mirror. The breakfast was very plentiful with lots of selection. For the coffee, it might be preferable to have regular brewed coffee, which is quicker for service than the automated espresso machine. The front desk staff were very helpful when we requested assistance with the heating."

"Lovely area and beautiful setting. Giethoorn gets quite busy in the day, when you see it you will understand why. Its like going back in time, the museum is a must to understand the history, as is the church. We loved our stay, a very helpful chap on the reception. You're quite a way from the car park, so luggage is taken back and forth in a bucket shaped trolley. Sadly the weather wasn't the best so didn't get to enjoy sitting out by the water much which would have been lovely. The only problem we had was with the microwave that doubles as an oven, and didn't work well at all, waiting forever, or burning items !, so gave up. Would much rather have had a separate oven. Kitchen could do with looking at to be fair. Overall we had a lovely time. If you want nightlife this isn't for you, If you want relaxing and peaceful this is it."

"We had a nice stay with our 2 kids (3y & 5y). If is oriented on families/kids and had Some nice playgrounds, games for children. The kids loved the pool. Food was good but normal, which was as expected. The hotel is focused on all-in do it is fine but not exceptional. Room was clean. We had a nice stay!"
