Basic Hotel

One night stop over , hotel is remote and unfortunately on sunday has no restaurant . Very basic but the member of staff was very helpful.

Does what it says on the tin and does it well

great staff made it easy to check in and settle at this basic but clean hotel. Quiet, comfortable, handy parking and handy access to main routes made this perfect for our needs. For when you don't need more.

Helt OK övernattning!

Stannade en natt för resa med färjan till Dover. Helt OK. Sparsam frukost, annars var närheten till färjan bra, 15 min bilresa.

Hôtel très acceuillant

J'ai passé un bon séjour , la Directrice de l'hôtel est très sympathique, charmante, serviable et à l'écoute. Les chambres sont propres, le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié le repas du soir, bon et copieux (c'est fait maison !!!) . Je dois revenir prochainement dans la région , je reviendrais dans cet établissement . Merci pour l'agréable séjour.

Biting smell (likely mould) in the accomodation

I stayed in this hotel for one night. After having seen the recommendations here I thought this hotel would be at least alue for money. However, it was the most terrible stay I have ever had. When arriving in the hotel, the first thing I could realise was a biting smell in the corridors. After having opened the room door this was even more disgusting. I couldn't sleep properly at night. Every time I woke up, this I noticed this very aggressive smell which is very likely mold. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all! However, the breakfast was good and the personnel was friendly.

Nous y avons passé 1 nuit, le lit est bien , le mobilier satisfaisant . Petit reproche, la salle de bain fort étroite. Service déjeuner, bon et à volonté. Personnel serviable et poli.

Only use for an overnight stop!

The staff were very good. Breakfast good. Rooms require updating. Strong smells of smoke in the two bedrooms we booked.

Nous avons choisi l'hôtel pour sa proximité du le carnaval de dunkerque. Les chambres sont simples mais très propre. L'hôtel est situé en dehors du centre ville et est très calme. L'accueil par le personnel a été parfait. J'y reviendrai

Ideal Position

The room, though a little small was very clean and there was an excellent, powerful, hot shower. The service was very good indeed, both cheerful and helpful and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. More than anything else, this hotel is ideally placed for the ferry port - literally five minutes away by car.

Für eine Nacht ist das Zimmer ok. Es ist sehr klein. Gerade das 4 Betten in das Zimmer passen. Das Personal war sehr nett.

The friendly and kind member of staff.

We arrived late from the Dunkerque Ferry because we had broken down-1.30 am!! The code system worked to enter the hotel. We were in a 4 bedded room. It was adequate. Clean and well supplied with towels; the beds were comfortable just not so excitingly laid out. The cost was low so we were more than happy. In the morning we had a very delicious breakfast! The children talked about it as being really good! The receptionist was very very friendly, supplying us with refills of coffee and bread. When we were leaving, he was concerned about our welfare and tried to help us with our breakdown problems. The taxi driver in contrast was unfriendly so the efforts the receptionist made were not supported.I have already recommended the position of the Hotel in relationship to the Dunkerque Ferry as not too far away. I would recommend however that you find a way of signposting were you are. The endless "port" signs are extremely confusing and do not help!! Thank you Marie

Good value for money

This is a low cost hotel suitable for an overnight stay for holiday makers. It is also used by people working nearby. The bedroom is small but comfortable. The buffet style evening meal is restricted to a few dishes but of reasonable quality and unlimited quantity, as you would expect to be provided for men coming in from work. Breakfast was equally adequate.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Went for 1 night, stayed for 3! The Polish lady on reception was charming, extremely helpful and always smiled.

Super Übernachtungsmöglichkeit

Das Hotel ist optimal für eine Übernachtung zbevor man am nächsten Tag die Fähre nach GB nutzt.. Der Preis ist sehr günstig und es war sauber und das Bad vollkommen ausreichend. Der Komfort und Standard ist einfach aber für eine Nacht gut.
