Th motel rooms were very comfy and nice and warm. The stairs up to room were slippery due to moss on steps

The reception staff were friendly, inviting,informative and organised. Being a pet friendly property was great for our wee dog it was like home away from home Rooms were fresh,clean,tidy,quiet and relaxing. Would book again.😊

A lovely one night stay in a standard studio apartment. The room was very clean and tidy. Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Easy parking on the premises.

Super friendly and helpful
Amongst the most friendly motels I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Excellent local knowledge and advice on places to go, things to see and places to eat. Great location only a very short walk from anything you could want; gardens, restaurants, takeaway options, and a 10-15min short stroll to central Dunedin (the Octagon). Motel itself is kept very clean and is comfortable.

Everything was fine including price - except for our unit that faced the one way system - so had trucks and other vehicles all night. To their credit, they did warn us about that when booking.

The manager was very friendly and happily changed our room. When I called later and asked for help he was there within minutes. Ample parking with easy access. Highly recommended motel.

Cleanliness was poor. No excuse for dirt build up in corners of kitchen windows and in the bathroom around shower etc. Stick on vinyl tiles would hide a great deal of the hard water damage and can be readily replaced when needed. No blind in the kitchen meant the security light behind shone straight on to the bed making it difficult to sleep. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up for the convenience of a male!! Music across the road was pleasant but stayed on too late for travellers.

Hi AprilThank you for your review. I did a double take when I read this and strangely enough my finding's were somewhat different to yours for example I didn't see nor could i wipe any dirt from the corners of the window or shower, I pulled the kitchen blind down without any problem and the cord was clearly visible and so was the blind ??? Toilet seat has been fixed, sorry for the inconvenience had you dialed reception we could have fixed that in seconds. Thank you for the suggestion of Vinyl stick on tiles, bit tacky so we'll pass. Unfortunately we cannot control the Students or what time they choose to be quiet that's a them problem. Wishing you all the very best for your future.Kind Regards

Can’t fault it!
Really great host! I’ve stayed here before. It’s central and convenient. There’s free parking which really is huge plus. And the facilities are terrific!

We were on the ground floor and the people in the room above were very noisy in the morning. They woke us at around 6.30am singing and talking loudly. Not sure if anyone else noticed this but we did unfortunately.
