"The staff was so helpful! The room was big and comfortable. A bit pricey for this property but it was Newport Folk Festival weekend so everything went up in price."
"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....
"The room design and accommodations were just beautiful. I loved the microwave and mini refrigerator colors and the whole decor. It was a little bright in the morning and they could use some blackout shades to make it easier to sleep in. Overall, it was a spacious accommodation and I’m really happy I chose it"

We had a room on the second floor, facing the main road, so it was quiet. We loved the location- walkable to bars, restaurants, bakeries, the docks. Parking was available as we were a guest. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant or just sipping coffee on the dock. Some family friendly things as well- giant Jenga, a pool, a grassy area by the docks with seating, fire pits. "
