It's newish and well maintained but except of Hotel nearby it's in Dunalley which as a locality offers nothing except it is on the road to Port Arthur. It is not a 'beachside' location although the water is there and it's next to busy highway. Generally overpriced for what it is, really just a cabin far from anything interesting. 'For Sale' sign on property tells the tale.

Great location to base yourself to explore Port Arthur & surrounds, great little studio with lovely furnishings. Nice to have a fire! Would have liked more kitchen facilities as there are aren’t a lot of food options nearby - local pub is ok, and the nearby winery is lovely but only open for lunch. Everything else in the area was closed on the days we were there. Kitchen just has a microwave and a portable hot plate you can plug in. There was also a fair bit of noise from the road as it’s right next to a major road.

Wonderful stay in a beautifully decorated place (even better than the photos), and easy walk onto the beach. Road noise is as expected. Highly recommend a few nights here.

Loved this hidden nook by the sea. It is beautiful.. Had all we needed.. Cozy fire, well setup cottage with a comfy bed and amazing outlook. Well appointed bathroom, kitchen area and comfy sofa. Perfect for 2. Will definitely be back.

Perfect place to stay in the heart of top sights
A wonderful modern cottage on a little cliff overlooking Dunalley Bay. Very close to attractions on the Tasman Peninsula and just an hour away from the ferry to Maria Island. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I honestly wish I had booked another night rather than moving up the coast for our visit to Maria, as the drive back would have been very easy.

Beautiful, clean property overlooking the ocean! Easy to get to, close to Port Arthur and other tourist destinations and a gorgeous drive from Hobart. We loved our stay!

Well contained studio, lovely feel and gorgeous view. The colour of the water was beautiful. The kitchenette provided everything we needed to feel at home.

Great place though it required personal contact to ensure access and check in. The only downside was highway noise and bamboo curtains that didn’t afford complete privacy. Would stay here again and recommend.

Lovely outlook over the water
Chose Dunalley because it is between Port Arthur and Hobart and it's a lovely location. This accommodation has recently been built and has all you need. Very modern and the owner has thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable.

beautiful studio in great location
Absolutely beautiful new studio -beautifully equipped, spectacular view -best sunrise we have ever seen. Great location between Hobart and Port Arthur with some wonderful eating places close by. Many thoughtful touches by host. Very highly recommended.

Beautifully located right on Dunalley Bay.
You can lie in bed and look out through the full-wall window directly to the garden and bay. Nice and private. The owner, who lives off-site, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks Gai! Flotsam is an easy 30 minute drive to Port Arthur Historical site.

Close to many tourist places and has water views.
It had great views, relaxing , close to all the tourist places down south, eg. Port Arthur, Trahanne air walk, Bruny Isand, Tasman sea ocean views were amazing and lots more. Great communication from owner. She recommended that we food shop before arrival. Dunalley pub meals were beautiful. Accommodation had everything you needed plus more.

Beautiful little spot!
What a wonderful spot to relax. The studios are very well organised and have everything you could possibly need. They are very clean and fresh. We would highly recommend a stay here.
