"Had a club room with breakfast use of spa if you can call it that. Breakfast ok tables not cleared. Bog standard cooked breakfast. Room ok pillows hard one biscuit. Nice shower. Spa an issue second time to stay and visit. Steam full of local men swearing about women. I was the only woman in there it felt intimidating. This was also my previous experience i thought at 4pm i would avoid this.Really need to sort this out. You need a padlock for lockers wasn't told this so had to carry clothes...

"In 50+ years of travelling for business and pleasure this was worst property I have ever seen….i walked away and paid to stay in an another hotel …dirty,cold draughty falling down horrendous inside and appeared to being used almost as a doss house….absolute disgrace that it’s advertised…they lock it up at 11 only one door on a passcode is available …code didn’t work…anyone considering staying here don’t…there were holes in bathroom walls….hot water took an eternity and shower is an accident...

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!"

"The Woden Boutique Inn is a gem. Relatively easy to drive to with a private car park. The virtual check-in worked well. Entering one finds a lovely and very clean space. The ambience is quiet and is situated near a park. The Woden is not far from M&S Food and Morrisons. Within a mile there are eating establishments. "Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. "During checkout, the alarm in the room would not stop ringing. We wanted to extend our stay by one more night, and we had already informed Quinn that he would add an extra night for us. "My second stay here. A really good place to stay with a great Italian restaurant attached. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free parking too. A nice pub down the road selling a great pint of ale. Dartmouth Park is close by and lovely to walk around. Bus and tram stop about 20 mins walk away to easy access in to Birmingham or Wolverhampton and they run late so you can have a nice night out and get back to hotel without a worry. "
