"Valamar Argosy was an amazing resort. The staff were always attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The food at the buffet and pool bar was very good. The room was cleaned very well each day from housekeeping. Also the pool and beach access was very nice too. Although it is far from old town, there were always Ubers available or the bus stop that has a direct route to old town. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone staying in Dubrovnik. Simply perfect."

"Very nice hotel . I found the staff very hit and miss either incredibly helpful and lovely or really really rude . Vlato at the bar, Rosario at check in and Vendran at the restaurant for one were amazing and so lovely and a credit to the hotel. But the piano bar manager and some staff , Remi , Andreja and Stefan were a couple of names highlighted. Myself and the group of 30 I was with found to be so rude. It was bizzare. Put a bit of a dampener on our stay. But still had a really good time , it’s a very nice hotel in a great location, value for money isn’t the best but the sunset and views are out of this world with. Lovely pool and beach access"

"This is a fab hotel, the room was spotless and spacious had opted for partial sea view as it has more square footage but it looked like a great picture window sea view. all the staff were fantastic from housekeeping to bar staff. It’s a good location with the lift down to the beach. The outside bar area had the best vista. Would recommend it 100%"

"The views from this property are beyond amazing. We had planned a busy itinerary, but when we arrived and saw our room, we said "why would ever leave this to spend hours on a tour bus"? Upgrade to Sea View room overlooking the Adriatic, enjoy the many restaurants and pools, breakfast is unbelievable with unmatched scenery on the outdoor patio, the bus route to Old Town and major attraction is a short walk across the street and up a small hill to the left. Rides are free if you bought the 3-day Dubrovnik pass which gets you into almost everything. We want to come back, just to relax and stay at this resort. A memorable and magical place!"
