"The Hotel Sumratin is perfect, the decor is lovely, the staff are very friendly with good recomendations and very attentive, the pool area is kept to a very high standard by the staff. The breakfast has something for everyone, we were happy to see probiotic and vitamin shooters, smoked salmon, pancakes with lots of toppings, fruit and yoghurt bowls and the omelette lady! Highly recommend and we will be back!"

"Our room, penthouse, was awesome tho expensive it was worth it in every way. The space was huge, the deck was huge, it was all encased in glass floor to ceiling. It is the closest wf hotel to old town Dubrovnik."

"The Valamar President has perhaps the best views in Dubrovnik, but the physical property is starting to show its age. We had a rocky start—our first room had curtains that wouldn't close, and had several broken fixtures and a dirty fridge. It’s also disappointing that the spa jacuzzi has been out of service for so many months. That said, the service remains excellent. The staff handled our complaints professionally, and management eventually wiped our bar tab and most of our bill to compensate for the trouble. If you want a modern, high-tech hotel, this isn't it; but if you value service and incredible sunsets, it’s still a great spot. Just check your room thoroughly upon arrival!"
