I was only in Dublin for the day/night, however the experience at 31 was superb. Staff were friendly, attentive and dedicated to service excellence. From the beginning to my departure I was looked after. The room was immaculate and well appointed and deserved the price point. The candle gift was a lovely touch as were the sweet treats! The exterior terrace was very nice and the fire was very pleasant. Highly recommend for a quick visit and or if you are staying for longer. I will be back there next time I travel to Dublin.

Great boutique hotel. We booked a single night at the beginning of our vacation and liked it so much came back for 2 nights at the end of our Ireland vacation. Staff are exceptional. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend.

This is a really great little hotel in a good area of Dublin. It’s extremely comfortable, clean and in good condition. The hotel is full of original artwork and has a very stylish feel to it. The breakfast is superb and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hidden gem
We stayed for one night in December and it was beautiful, a lovely hidden gem. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The building itself is gorgeous with beautiful artwork. It's very comfortable, we would definitely stay again. Thank you very much

This is a nice hotel although if you room number is 41 plus then you’ll have to go up quiet a few stairs. As for the walking distances add another roughly 10 minutes or more to each location. The main reason we also booked this hotel was for the breakfast reviews however; you were limited to what you can have and I was made to feel uncomfortable by asking for more!

I can't say enough good things about this stay. Low key and very comfortable. Thoughtful touches, great hospitality, delicious breakfast. It's like being in on one of Dublin's best kept secrets. Will stay again.

Easy walk near St Stephens park to the city
This was our second stay. Love the location. Stayed in room 9 first time, noisy cause outside breakfast location and room 10 this past visit and it is by entrance and you hear people coming and going and lights outside on at night, of course, so hard to ventilate room to leave curtains open as people would see in and lights shine in. Breakfast is delicious.

The property is nice and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is VERY good (except for the coffee, which is a bitter, percolated brew). Pro-tip: choose tea for breakfast and, once finished, use the coffee machine at reception for a much-improved coffee experience (it uses capsules, but still a lot better). The main issue was the room. It wasn't very clean (the chandelier had visible dust from a long time without wiping). It was also EXTREMELY hot. We happened to be in Dublin for 1 night only and it was unusually cloudless and sunny. However, this still doesn't justify the room being so poorly ventilated. It was a true disaster: 18°C outside at night, but the room felt like a sauna. No air-conditioning and the window can't even be opened properly (and if you do, there'll be noise). Summary: NO SLEEP AT ALL. Due to this, we are very unlikely to ever come back. Once the aircon is up, the rooms have proper ventilation (and are cleaned better), and maybe the windows can be opened some more, we'd definitely reconsider.

Tucked back off the street, you feel secluded from the hustle of the city. Safe, quiet, stylish, very comfortable beds, gourmet breakfast, amazing property with attention to every detail, kind and welcoming staff… you can’t go wrong! Would return here for sure if back in Dublin.

The front desk staff was exceptional and super helpful. We had an early flight and had to leave at 4am so they arranged for us to have a cab the night before. The property was super cute and the rooms were cozy!

A very nice small hotel with lovely decoration, great public spaces and good service. The breakfast was cooked to order and was really good. The room (intimate double) was a bit too small for two people (particularly the bathroom), so if we were staying for more than one night we would choose a larger room.

The Number 31 was amazing! From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and accommodating! Gustavo was especially attentive! He even remembered that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and offered us a glass of Prosecco to celebrate! The breakfast by Deliah was fabulous! The lobby area with an “honest bar” was nice and the outdoor seating was lovely! The room was comfortable. We would definitely recommend!

We LOVED Number 31. Everything was thoughtfully laid out, and the breakfast — the homemade everything; sunlit setting; the attentive and accommodating servers — was exceptional. Loved, too, the Nespresso in the lobby, not to mention the lobby's stylish but comfortable decor. Room was small, but that's to be expected in Dublin. Fantastic place we hope to come back to.

The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The location was excellent - quiet, but easy walking distance to the main city areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. The highlight, though, was the breakfasts. Loads of choice, all freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend!

A terrific boutique hotel in Dublin
We arrived a bit weary after a day of travel. We were greeted with friendliness and a complimentary upgrade! The room was terrific. Comfortable and clean, with a most interesting design... a combination of art deco and Victorian influences. The bedding was inviting, the bathroom spacious and workable. We were very pleased with the room. The complex had a wonderful meeting area to enjoy time with our friends over drinks shortly after our arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a sweet little hotel! We were so pleasantly surprised by everything - the generous size of the room, the extraordinarily professional and friendly staff, the delicious made-to-order breakfast, the darling honor bar - all of it! We were especially thankful for how warm and enthusiastic the staff was, and how clearly they seemed to want to make sure we were enjoying Dublin. I would highly recommend No 31 to anyone, I can't imagine anyone not being completely charmed!

NO! to Room 17
Good location. Very pleasant and helpful staff throughout our stay. We got room 17 in the basement..small, hot, sweaty and airless. No air-con. No way to keep a window part open but secure. Thudding and creaky floorboards from the room above kept wakening us. Badly stained floor and walls in small shower room. Toilet seat falling off. Basin plug didn't close to fill basin to shave. Room 17 shouldn't be even offered to guests in a hotel of this category or price bracket. Our advice. Book, but message saying you want it guaranteed you will not be allocated room 17. Pity they let themselves down this way
