Fresh and clean with super helpful staff. Well located at the intersection of several tram lines and steps away from the restaurants and sites of the old town. Competitive price.

Basic Modern Hotel - Semi Friendly Staff
Hotel is in new condition and very centrally located. Walking distance to the old city centre and main shopping street. Very basic and modern hotel. I found the staff not very service minded, most of them felt very stressed to me and semi friendly. I kinda had the feeling they do me a favor by staying there, not very welcoming and warm feeling. Might be that the covid-19 situation is not easy at the moment, so it might has to do with that. Anyways thought it is worth to mention.

Motel One Dresden Zwinger
Business stay in Dresden, hotel well located for local shops, restaurants and public transport (tram service very convenient) Room is typical of Motel One: compact, but comfortable, with good bed & shower. My room also had a Juliet window with views toward the historic theatre. Staff efficient, friendly & professional. Continental breakfast was good value.

Great Location
Great location! We were able to walk to many historical places. The only problem you might have is very limited parking. One night we parked at the hotel but the next we had to park in the parking garage. You have to wait until a car leaves before you can enter the garage so you just sit in a line of cars. However, the hotel made sure that it only cost the same as if parking at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel though. Nice staff.

Great location but needs work
Location is excellent, next to Semperoper and Zwinger. The bathroom is however too small and the walls too thin. I've seen better in other Motel Ones. Also, the Almond milk was off. Staff should have checked it.

Great hotel
It is a great hotel. It’s worth the money, the staff is helpful and really nice. It is close to the city center, the old town, and close enough to the train station. Public transport is right there, but you can walk everywhere. I would recommend it and go back.

Modern hotel in central location. Walking distance to all the sights. 15 minute walk to central train station. Good wifi in the room. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Modern motell in the Old Town
The first thing you will see stepping out from this super modern motel is the Crown Gate of Zwinger! Needless to say, all major sightseeings will be at the top of your fingers. My only regret is the absence of an electric tea pot in the room so that guests could enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whenever they want without going downstairs and buying it. Other than that, the motel is a perfect place to stay in Dresden. The staff was helpful and fluent in English. Thank you!

Nice hotel but basic room was tiny, no closet, endtables or even a place to put luggage. Bathroom tiny also, no counter space and no shelf in shower even. Uncomfortable! Was clean and service and breakfast we're good.

We stayed one night and had a corner room which had some lovely views. Room was small but sufficient for the one night. Parking lot was full (only one level is available) and so we had to find parking elsewhere, noticed a lot of other guests had this issue as well.

One night in Dresden between Berlin and Prague.
Everything we needed in the smallest possible space for a very friendly price. Strangely no phone in room. Surprisingly nice breakfast, lovely courteous staff. Hotel couldn't have been better located for sightseeing. We were curious about Motel One. Especially if you're on a budget, give it a try. Park in the garage or you'll get a ticket.

Parking issue!!! But otherwise nice.
Nice affordable rooms with great breakfast but there was no parking available in the garage for the hotel. When I spoke to the hotel, we were told to find another garage or park on the street. To someone unfamiliar with the town, trying to locate an authorized parking spot on the street is impossible, they are in a big city after all. In addition, locating another parking garage is also not feasible. It's already difficult to navigate this town with car traffic and trolleys let alone find a place to park and make it back to the hotel intact.

Stylish simplicity in the center of Dresden
Our first stay in a much-praised chain. It lived up to expectations. Pleasant staff at reception and bar. We were able to check in early. Nicely designed, from the lobby (especially) and outside area to the rooms, although he latter did not seem quite as efficiently organized as other chains such as Japan's Toyoko Inns. Hotel was excellent value for its central location, within sight of the Zwinger Palace and an easy walk to all of the Altstadt. Tram stop at adjacent Postplatz conveniently placed. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Good Hotel
Great location for seeing the sights. The hotel is stylish and in great condition. My only complaint is the air conditioning was turned off and to open the windows on the busy street was very noisy at night. The Front Desk stated it was not possible to have air conditioning or heat since it was turned off for September and October. I was very disappointed in their response since the room was rather warm to sleep in.

It's very close to the city center and you can find an even public parking 6EURO/24hrs. A room might be rather small but it's clean so ok. Staff also told us a good restaurant.

Small, chic, immaculate rooms. Perhaps a bit too small for more than one person, but perfect if you're travelling alone. Decent breakfast buffet, beautiful lobby bar, and excellent location.
