"This is a very well maintained, modest hotel in a lovely part of town. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but note that the reception desk closes between 10:30p and 6:30a. The hotel is small and not spectacular but for a simple, straightforward stay in Heidelberg on a charming square (with a farmers market some mornings) it’s really exceptional. "

"One staff person was quite nice and helpful. The others ranged from aloof to rudely dismissive. Dining staff need to improve hygiene awareness. They tolerated hand picking through cheese, meat and breads by some of the guests. There usually were dogs in the dining room and some of the staff would go from petting back to food and dishes handing. A couple of the dogs weren't clean."
"Went down for breakfast at 10:19 a.m and asked to have breakfast. Breakfast closes at 10:30. The lady said breakfast was finished and I said at 10:30. The manager MulakI said we didn't pay for breakfast. I explained because of our trains we arrived after 10 p.m. the night before and the gentleman had to give us the code to the building and our room over the phone. We were never offered to pay for breakfast the night before and also not offered to pay for breakfast in the morning. Every bread basket was full the entire food bar was full. Very very disappointed after spending €250 for one night. Would not recommend the B&B to anyone. "
"Lovely hotel, overall it was very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were nice. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is a bit from the main train station but the #6 drops you off directly in front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this modern hotel to anyone. "
