"This is a gorgeous place to stay! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the property is impeccable and superbly located on the Necker a few minutes walk from the Alte Brücke. My room was a single on the top floor, small but more than adequate for a single guest, charmingly decorated, with a skylight window and a small (and useful) fridge was included. I didn’t try the breakfast but I will next trip, as I will surely return to this jewel of a hotel! "

"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"My first time In Heidelberg- As described in others reviews, the staff was exceptionally friendly! I had flowers with me and she offered me a vase and even to trim the stems! We also ate at the restaurant and we’re well taken care of. It was good, but the portions were a little small. Some of the reviews mentioned the noise because it is smack-dab in the Altstadt with cafes and restaurants just below.. so it is loud. "This is a modern hotel a short walk or tram ride from the old town. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Staff at reception were friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is an underground car park for which a fee is payable but it is secure so this was a positive for me. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was full on our first night due to a festival taking place in the city so it was necessary to select a time slot for breakfast on the Sunday morning, this wasn't a problem and there was a...
