"We booked this hotel expecting an old motor lodge with fun northern NM vibe. What we weren't expecting was THE COMFIEST BED WE'VE SLEPT ON IN YEARS. Seriously next level. The facility is various levels of vintage, classic, antique, and ancient, and the experience walking the grounds is amazing- rickety wood walkways, 100+ year old exposed vigas, and beautifully aged old adobe walls. If you want a spotless, clinically-curated sleeping experience, go to a Holiday Inn. But if you want to talk to some nice staff, sleep on a super nice bed surrounded by authentic vintage NM architecture, and enjoy some green chile chicken enchiladas for dinner, this is your place. "
