"Very well run hotel -- but I fell the marketing is a bit bait and switch. I was surprised to see that my room overlooked a parking lot with a pool in it. What happened to the affinity pool and pickleball courts? You actually have to walk across a 4 lane (not too busy) street to get their. Most people take a golf cart - but I didn't have time. Hate this kind of marketing."

"Great boutique hotel. Has everything you need to have a peaceful vacation. The pool was pretty and the hotel was quiet. The beach area was calm and not overcrowded! There are good restaurants close by or you can eat at Zota. Vanessa and Johanna were great at servicing the bar/lunch area and for breakfast. "

"We had a 1 bdrm efficiency for 3 people. Sofa bed and room bed were very comfortable. It had very modern decor. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. We were within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, as well as a short walk to the beach. Beach chairs, towels and a mini cooler were provided too! We will be back."

"Upon arriving at the resort, found this place to be charming. Our room had a kitchenette with small dining table and 4 chairs, 2 queen beds - which were very comfortable and a nice bathroom. The court yard was lovely! The pool was nice as well! Beach access about a 3-4 minute walk away from the resort. Lastly, I want to give a shoutout to the staff in the office. They could not have been nicer! Plan on booking another stay at Captive Beach resort next year. "
