One short block from the shops and restaurants along the Embarcadero. Easy walk around downtown. Across the street from Dorn's Breakers Cafe, our favorite restaurant. Manager is friendly and hires good people. The view rooms are upstairs, but beware there's no elevator. If you want something casual, not too expensive, with a great location, the Landing is it! "

"We visited Morro Bay for a birthday weekend Nd decided on Ascot Suites. I splurged a little and chose the "Tower" suite with king bed, fireplace and huge bathroom shower! It's clean, well-lit and the view of Morro Rock was beautiful. Second floor also gave us a front row seat at the tornado warning headed our way. It was great drama unfolding but alas, a tornado didn't come. Just heavy rain and gusts of wind. Kinda romantic to see holding my baby by the fireplace. Check-in/out was a breeze. We...
