"Clean rooms and well kept up"

"We found the location excellent, as we were expected to arrive at the Twilight Riverboat two-day excursion the next day at 7:30 am. After the boat tour, we stayed another night, seeing it was after 6 pm and a little late to head back to Wisconsin."

Had to use half the bottle of dawn air freshener to get the room to a tolerable smell. The tv in the bedroom only had 4 working channels and the tv in the living room had no working remote! "The bed didn't have a comforter, only a thin blanket and a sheet. The bedsheet itself had a stain on it. The mattress feels like its caving in on itself, so you sink into the middle of it. The bathroom ceiling fan was the loudest and most useless thing in the room. Nothing wrong with a 1980 non-modernized hotel room, but it makes it feel old, crusty, and musty in the room. "No toilet paper or towels.... super old property with the oldest comforter and pillows ive ever seen. I just wanted to get outs there."

"The 1st thing you notice when entering to check in is that the place smelled like cigarette smoke. I guess they still allow smoking in the casino. Fortunately, I couldn't smell it in the room. The room had a mini-fridge that I used for leftovers, but there was no place to reheat them. I had to take them to the front desk to have them heat them up for me in the back.
