10/10 Excellent

"Always enjoy staying here! Especially with the location, cleanliness, and comfortability."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bakersfield North

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean, breakfast good. The second night there were not towels in the pool and hot tub area but provided a towel when we went to the front desk. It was inconvenient as we had to walk to the front desk dripping wet. We loved the hot tub and pool which was well maintained. t The lobby area was decorated nicely for Halloween. Over all the stay was good and we would stay there again."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bakersfield

8/10 Good

"The property is very nice and open. Pool and fitness center looks great, but I did not partake. Inside however the building it is showing its age. Worn carpet in the hallways and main areas particularly stood out to me. The locking entry doors to the various buildings of the hotel are terribly beat up and completely unlocked. I don’t know if they are locked at night and they’re only unlocked during day, but it doesn’t give me a sense of security that anyone coming in the front lobby can walk right into any building on the property. My room looks good but you can see where maintenance is falling down on the job. The shower was not a strong flow - little better than a trickle. Need additional grab bars in the shower - fall risk! The drywall and the ceiling in the bathroom definitely need work, showing their age and poor workmanship. The bathtub needs refinishing. The fixtures are nice though. The entryway ceiling of my room has some water stains on it. But the bed is comfortable, the TV is large, and the ambience is nice. The breakfast options are varied and large portions. Love the cranberry juice. The breakfast burrito was way too large for me. I could barely eat half. I’d also suggest beefing up the options in the snack bar. Don’t take these comments the wrong way – I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and my suggestions are merely to improve it."

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bakersfield South

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was great, very helpful and friendly, we checked in late, myself and fiance, we had no problem at all.. Have stayed there multiple times..they offer us coffee as soon as we walked in, the room was cleaned. I love that there was no noise throughout the night and no doors slamming like other hotels. Parking was good, felt safe. The only thing is theres only one tiny bottle of shampoo in the bathroom and thats it, nothing else. Maybe they wouldve given us more if i asked, but it wasnt a big deal. Other than that, the room and our stay was great! Would be staying again if needed, and we do recommend ."
