The room was too hot, unable to turn down the heating and air conditioning noise from the kitchens made it painful to open the window.

On arrival no staff were present, the entire place was closed and in darkness, there were dirty cups lying outside in the patio area and a box of christmas crackers inside, all of the windows were filthy. When we contacted them by phone we were subjected to a rant about their problems. We elected not to stay.

Overnight stay while visiting family.

Enjoyable stay in a very comfortable room (101). The bar staff were extremely efficient and very friendly hence the service was top notch! Six of us ate in the bar/restaurant and the food was decent. The Seafood platter starter was excellent but I felt the Chicken Burger (Special)- was rather average and overpriced at £14.95. All in all however it was a good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff but not very professional or discrete at times. Waiting staff at dinner were lovely despite having to tell us all fish dishes were unavailable! Wonderful room service whilst we were having breakfast (which was delicious), beds made, room vacuumed. Great! The biggest criticism is the early wake up call on both mornings downstairs, radio on and vacuum going at just after 6. Not appreciated at all especially after attending a wedding ☹️

Lovely little boutique hotel. I had a small luxury double standard room which was ample for me. No view from the window but lovely bathroom except the bin is old, rusty and unsightly. I was pleased they had a movable double sided stand mirror but both sides needed cleaning especially the magnifying side. The bed linen was fresh and the bed very comfortable. For breakfast I had poached eggs on toast, loved the eggs but as there was no butter on the toasted brown bread I had to leave quite a lot as it was much too dry. On checking in I had a warm and efficient welcome and I was pleased with the facilities in the room.

No problem with the room or bathroom which were both very nice. My only slight grumble was with the breakfast which was super greasy despite saying on the menu that it was grilled. (Mainly the bacon). Location is quite a way from where all the other pubs and restaurants are which we didn't realise so be prepared to get a taxi or eat at the Mayflower.

Old world charm where you wanted to see it with clean modern facilities. Full delicious complimentary breakfast. Outstanding overnight facilities for Mayflower descendants wanting to visit Scrooby.

Room was very clean and bathroom immaculate. The breakfast and evening meal were very good with great staff who were really friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Expedia please note you can't book in until 16:30 and there is no reception open as your web page advertises.

A little gem

Overnight stay whilst visiting the area. This place is a little gem. Very comfortable & warm room, excellent service, really friendly staff & good food with generous portions. Will definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

Nice spot!

This is a nice little hotel. There are only 4 rooms here. They are upstairs above the restaurant. Surprisingly quiet. The rooms are nicely decorated with a very nice bathroom. A bit small but adequate. The only real problem we had was finding outlets. There are two behind the headboard, and both were hard to get to. There is a varied breakfast menu. We ate in the restaurant twice and found it to be very good. The staff was neither rude not very friendly. Mostly indifferent. Located in a lovely out of the way area that is full of Pilgrim history.

Fantastic Night

Having read some of the reviews I was a little worried, but that was quickly dispelled. The venue is fantastic with great food and well equipped rooms that have everything you would need. The Staff are all friendly and although service did take a little time everything was perfect with our order.

Great place for an overnight stay

Great place to stay friendly staff, our room was small but comfortable great for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent tasty good quality. Only hitch we had was arriving slightly earlier for our breakfast than arranged and everything was locked up, more info needs to be provided about this ad we were hammering on all the doors with another couple. However this would not stop me staying again.

Nice, quiet location and good facilities.

Visiting Doncaster on business as I often do I tried this hotel away from my usual venues. Great dinner, very nice breakfast and a great night's sleep in between.
