"Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg.
The meals were exceptional and designed with a global perspective. Each dish has its own story....

"More like a boarding house than a hotel but great place to stay. I had no a lovely room with small courtyard view,room had fridge, desk and chair, microwave, jug and tea/coffee, TV, bed was comfortable and very friendly and helpful people. It is in a safe area and a short walk to cafes and shops.

"A lovely hotel, and welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and nicely-designed with our own indoor and outdoor shower, and a soothing spa-like feel. Dinners and breakfasts at the restaurant were excellent and a personal tour around town was everything we’d hoped for. It’s a wonderful oasis in the city. "
