"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

The property features a lovely, peaceful inner courtyard where you can relax or enjoy a meal. Breakfast was simple yet high quality, featuring fresh breads and homemade items such as cake, jam, and yogurt. The location is extremely convenient for exploring the Loire Valley, situated perfectly right between the eastern and western parts of the region. Overall, excellent value for money. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire."
