"A tranquil place to stay. The sea view was panoramic and there was easy and free parking in the road outside the hotel. The room was quiet and well designed with ample storage. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were rather flimsy. We slept well. The port area where there were restaurants and shops, was about 25 minutes walk away along the promenade."

But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly. "We stayed at the residence for 3 weeks, the staff and the director were very helpful, We are elderly, some of the rooms do not consider this, and this should in my opinion be made available. Hotels.com was useless in resolving our issue, spoke to a supervisor who was useless. plenty to say but did not resolve our problem. my wife and I resolved it by communicating with the directors, who then understood our issue and quickly resolved it. One important issue, the fire alarm was activated one evening around 2230 hrs, there was no emergency evacuation procedure, and this should be resolved, with clear instructions on all accommodation doors, with a larger noticeable procedure in the main reception area. John & Mary"
