What an absolutely beautiful place! We were lucky enough to have stunning mountain views right from our window, and we loved watching all the different birds visiting the feeder outside. The couple who run the place are incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was lovely and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again! In fact, we might be back this way at the end of September, and if so, we are really hoping we can get another booking.
A lovely quiet and very clean room in a quiet part of town. Excellent Breakfast with a great view over the hills and a wide assortment of birds to watch at the feeders. can certainly recommend this B&B.

Such a friendly welcome. Property was super clean and the Breakfast was very enjoyable. The property has easy parking on site which was such a bonus when free parking is more than a little difficult in delightful Dolgellau. Just over 5 minutes to walk into town where there are so many good places to eat.
Borthwen is an excellent B&B, within walking distance of the town.
Colin & Lisa were very friendly and accommodating, offering advice and a good knowledge of the area.
The whole place is in excellent order and extremely clean throughout.
I’ll definitely be coming back next year
Lisa and Colin are wonderful hosts and made our stay at Borthwen really enjoyable. Breakfast was lovely and had something for everyone. Would highly recommend this property if you are fortunate enough to be visiting the beautiful North Wales area.
Another superb nights stay.
Parking is off-road and right outside the property.
The room was plenty big enough, very clean and it a great condition. The bathroom is a good size with an excellent shower.
Breakfast was top notch and a quick service.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
I'd be more than happy to stay there again.
Lovely friendly B&B. Had the place to ourselves and the view was amazing and the town was beautiful. Had a great breakfast the next morning too watching the birds and having a good chat with the owners.

Borthwen B&B is a fabulously run B&B. Colin and Lisa are great and make sure their guests are happy and looked after. The location is very good as it’s a couple minutes walk into the main town. I would definitely recommend it.
A single night here stayed in, nice gentlemen owner, super helpful, lovely breakfast, nice, fresh modern room.
Certainly happy to return here.
Chose as i needed off road parking= plenty.
If you want to relax browsing the local shops or eateries, maybe just sit on the patio enjoying the birds, view and peace, or take a country walk, it’s all here, superb
Fantastic location, can’t wait to rebook to return with my friend.
Great hosts and shower fab.
Just some curtains in room 1 as light could be seen and I love a dark room.
Amazing short break at Borthwen B&B. Beautiful big room with lots of little finishing touches. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Colin and Lisa. Fabulous freshly prepared cooked breakfast to start the day off. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a base for a weekend (or longer) in wales.
