"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. "A wonderful stay – highly recommended We had a wonderful stay at Altarocca Wine Resort. The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Breakfast was simply amazing and a real highlight each morning. We also thoroughly enjoyed the excellent restaurant and the resort’s facilities, which made it a lovely place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend Altarocca and would happily return."

"Lovely, kind staff, felt very welcome upon check in. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, the staff kept food selections refreshed, coffee hot & ready, they welcomed guests with a cheery greeting each morning. Ate dinner at hotel restaurant twice, both meals superb, wine selections were lovely, our waiter was attentive, fun, loved his recommendations. The grounds & buildings were clean, beautiful. We toured the wine cellar, gardens, historic areas. Parking easy, well marked signage. Our group kept remarking “what a great place to stay”, so happy since I picked it! Our rooms were very clean, well appointed. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Facility is clean ,with minimal amenities, ie no coffee in the room. The AC struggled to keep up with record heatwave. The staff was VERY helpful. We would not have gotten to our activities or train at 4am without the great assistance. Overall, we recommend this hotel, as it is a good value."
